I'm a lifelong Costa Mesa resident with a passion for and sustained commitment to our Westside neighborhoods. As a student, I attended our local schools, starting at Wilson Elementary.  After attending Estancia High School for 3 years, I graduated early from NMUSD and began taking college classes at OCC. I have a teaching credential & master's in education. I was an elementary teacher and I have worked with several local nonprofits, including a decade creating and leading education initiatives in our city.  I understand and love our close community here, especially the neighborhood and the schools where I grew up and still live.  It takes each one of us to make a flourishing and exceptional school district.  Let’s work together to build our commUNITY, and I will continue to be a trusted advocate and devoted voice for our Costa Mesa public schools, as well as our entire unified district.
